History
Alpha Delta Pi holds the distinction and honor of being the FIRST secret society founded in the world for women. Alpha Delta Pi was founded on May 15, 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia. The mother of all sororities, Alpha Delta Pi, was founded by: Eugenia Tucker Fitzgerald, along with Mary Evans Glass, Octavia Andrew Rush, Elizabeth Williams Mitchell, Ella Pierce Turner and Sophronia Woodruff Dews. The original Adelphean Society was later renamed the 168 year old sorority - Alpha Delta Pi.

Zeta Psi ChapterThe Zeta Psi Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was welcomed onto The University of North Carolina at Greensboro's campus in March of 1981. Now, we are one of the largest sororities on campus. Our on-campus greek housing can be found in Phillip-Hawkins Residence Hall on the 4th floor. In February of 2016, we celebrated our 35th Anniversary with a Gala and a Brunch, where alumnae sisters from all over the country attended. Not only are our sisters active within the chapter, but they are also involved in numerous campus organizations, clubs, and honors societies. Each of us found the one thing we were looking for - a family away from home. Through our open motto, "We Live for Each Other," we have found lasting friendships and created never-ending memories.
